I’m a big fan of the family session. Lots of smiles, lots of love, and lots of unpredictability. All three make for great photos!

I had photographed Tayla previously at Gnangara Pines. She participated as part of a model call for pregnant ladies, who modelled dresses for my maternity client wardrobe. We got on really well and talked about how she barely had any photographs of just herself, or of her with her son. I hear this a LOT! We decided to catch up again and have a little family session with her, her son and partner at Perry’s Paddock in Woodvale.
You can guess who became star of the show! Tayla’s little boy wasn’t at all interested in getting his photo taken at first, but after 10 minutes he was getting right into it – throwing leaves in the air, showing me bits of grass he had pulled up and playing around with mum and dad.
I’m a big fan of family sunset sessions at Perry’s Paddock as it’s a big open space, but also has lots of interesting backdrops with fallen down trees, an old windmill, grassy areas and sunlight filtering through wherever you go. Plenty of interesting things for kids of all ages to have a look at and climb up on!

If you’re looking for a Perth family photographer and want to talk through your plans for a sunset session, drop me a message!
