Oh boy, what a session.
Diane, Geoff and I had met previously for a maternity photoshoot late last year at Herdsman Lake. Diane is having twins, so she wanted some early stage maternity photos, as well as some later stage ones, to more fully capture her pregnancy journey. She suggested some beach photos, and I was more than happy to oblige.
Mosman Beach is a dog beach, so is mostly full of dogs and dog walkers. I would advise against going there for a session if you aren’t a fan of dogs 🐕 The beach is gorgeous however, and a sunset session here is just as good as at any other (busier…) beach in the Perth metro area. We had grass covered sand dunes, rocks and the ocean to play with, and play we did!

Diane chose to wear two of my complimentary client wardrobe pieces, Leila in salmon, and Esme in white. The way the blue skies contrasted with the salmon colour of the Leila gown was just phenomenal.

Diane and Geoff met while taking Lindy Hop dance classes, and during the session I asked if they could give me a demonstration. I cannot believe how much energy Diane had, considering she was 7 months pregnant with twins. Her energy was mind blowing.

And what’s a beach session if you don’t end up in the water?! We were all saturated and covered in sand by the end of the session, but we had the best time. Apologies to my now very sandy car…

If you’re currently expecting and looking to have your own beach maternity session, send me an email and we’ll work some magic together.
